Parents 

We encourage every family to be actively involved in your child's nursery journey and hold an ‘All about me Meeting’ prior to a child starting so that we are able to ensure that we have a holistic view of the child and family before they start with us.

We encourage parents to collaborate with us and parents have access to our parent app where practitioners update daily with their eating, toileting and daily needs which parents can access at the touch of a button. The app also gives parents the opportunity to comment and add in their own observations and pictures from home. Practitioners also send out home tasks throughout the year to encourage parents to get involved in activities and celebrations we may be looking at during the day.

​We hold a parent's evenings termly to ensure that parents are aware of where their child is achieving and how we are supporting their individual learning through differentiated play activities. Here we can also talk about how to close any gaps and what support parents can offer to mirror what is happening at nursery. We offer a variety of stay and play sessions throughout the year so the parents can gain a deeper understanding of life at nursery.
